Gemini is poised to become the default AI companion on Android devices, offering a conversational, multimodal, and highly helpful experience that integrates features from the previous Duet AI in Google Workspace.

The rebranding to Gemini signifies a strategic consolidation of Google's AI services, aiming for a seamless user experience across its platforms. In addition to the rebranding, Google has unveiled Gemini Ultra 1.0, a premium version of its large language model. This advanced AI capability is available through the new Google One AI Premium plan, priced at $20 per month.
