Apple Unleashes AI Power: Meet Apple Intelligence

Apple's new AI features aim to revolutionize user experience on iPhone and Mac.

Untrained AI that can understand games well enough to play

The Reverie

Apple has officially entered the AI race with the introduction of "Apple Intelligence" at the 2024 Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC).

This new suite of AI capabilities is set to enhance user interactions and streamline tasks across iPhones, Macs, and other Apple devices, marking a significant shift in the company's approach to artificial intelligence.

The details

  • Apple Intelligence will actively assist within apps, making tasks easier and interactions more intuitive

  • New capabilities include AI email composition, custom emojis, and a ChatGPT-like chatbot integrated into Siri

  • Apple emphasizes on-device processing to safeguard user data, with additional privacy measures for cloud-based functionalities

Summary and examples of the new fatures

  • Natural Conversation Capabilities
Siri can now chat more naturally, understanding follow-up questions without needing you to repeat things. Example: You ask Siri about the weather, then ask, "And what about tomorrow?" without mentioning the weather again, and Siri understands.

  • Cross-Device Functionality
You can start a conversation with Siri on your iPhone and continue it on your iPad without interruption. Example: You begin asking Siri for directions on your iPhone, then pick up your iPad and continue getting those directions seamlessly.

  • Enhanced In-App Control
Siri can manage specific tasks within apps using voice commands. Example: You can ask Siri to open an ebook in your reading app, set a timer in the camera app, manage emails, or organize photos.

  • On-Device Processing for Privacy
Most of Siri's functions will run on your device itself, keeping your data private and reducing the need to send information to cloud servers. Example: Your voice commands for setting reminders or searching contacts stay on your phone.

  • Generative AI Features
Siri now includes smart features like writing emails for you, creating custom emojis, and acting as a ChatGPT-like chatbot. Example: You can ask Siri to draft an email or chat with it about a topic in detail.

  • Improved User Interface
Siri has a new design with a glowing light around the screen edge, and you can switch easily between speaking and typing commands.

Why should you care?

This development is crucial as it signifies Apple's commitment to staying competitive in the rapidly evolving AI landscape.

With Apple Intelligence, users can expect smarter, more efficient devices that simplify daily tasks and enhance overall productivity.

This move also highlights the broader trend of AI integration in consumer technology, following significant advancements by companies like Google, Microsoft, and OpenAI.

Invest before this company becomes a household name

What if you had the opportunity to invest in the biggest electronics products before they launched into big box retail, would you?

Ring changed doorbells and Nest changed thermostats. Early investors in these companies earned massive returns, but the opportunity to invest was limited to a select, wealthy few. Not anymore. RYSE has just launched in 100+ Best Buy stores, and you're in luck — you can still invest at only $1.50/share before their name becomes known nationwide.

They have patented the only mass market shade automation device, and their exclusive deal with Best Buy resembles that which led Ring and Nest to their billion-dollar buyouts.
