How To Use AI to Summarize Youtube Videos

Here is a little teaser from the upcoming AI Reverie AI Course, where we show you how to use AI to become 10x more productive.

This tutorial will be better in a video format (which the course will be), but here is a written guide to do the same:

Letā€™s summarize this 30 minute long Youtube video:

End result after 30 seconds:

Step by step guide:

  1. To do this I use a tool called CakeAI that is a Chrome plugin you can use in Youtube directly.

Cake AI Chrome plugin

  1. From there we go back to youtube, click the ā€œtranscribeā€ button close to the title of the youtube Video:

Click the transcript button

  1. That will download a text-file that you can see in the following two images:

  1. Copy paste that Youtube transcript straight into ChatGPT4 and prompt it to give you a summary of the transcript in the format you want.

This will take you roughly 30 seconds and will give you a fully detailed transcript in no time.
