Invest before this company becomes a household name

What if you had the opportunity to invest in the biggest electronics products before they launched into big box retail, would you?

Ring changed doorbells and Nest changed thermostats. Early investors in these companies earned massive returns, but the opportunity to invest was limited to a select, wealthy few. Not anymore. RYSE has just launched in 100+ Best Buy stores, and you're in luck — you can still invest at only $1.50/share before their name becomes known nationwide.

They have patented the only mass market shade automation device, and their exclusive deal with Best Buy resembles that which led Ring and Nest to their billion-dollar buyouts.

CHATGPT-5
🚀 OpenAI Set to Release Game-Changing GPT-5 This Summer

Next-gen AI model promises major upgrades to ChatGPT's capabilities

Sam Altman - CEO of OpenAI

The Reverie

OpenAI, the company behind the wildly popular ChatGPT, is gearing up to launch GPT-5, a significantly improved version of its AI language model, as early as this summer.

The new model has impressed early testers, who describe it as "materially better" than its predecessor, GPT-4.

The Details

  • OpenAI has been providing demos of GPT-5 to select enterprise customers, showcasing its enhanced performance and potential new features like AI agents that can autonomously perform tasks.

  • The exact release date for GPT-5 is not yet set, as the model is still undergoing training and will need to go through extensive safety testing and "red teaming" before launch.

  • OpenAI's CEO Sam Altman has hinted at the company having "a lot of other important things to release" before a GPT-5-level update, suggesting potential incremental improvements or new AI tools in the pipeline.

Why Should You Care?

The release of GPT-5 marks a significant milestone in the rapid evolution of AI language models and their applications.

As the foundation for ChatGPT, GPT-5's improvements could translate into a more capable, reliable, and versatile chatbot experience for millions of users worldwide.

Moreover, the model's advancements may open up new possibilities for businesses and developers looking to leverage cutting-edge AI technology in their products and services. Source

STABILITY AI/STABLE DIFFUSION
📉 Key Stable Diffusion Researchers Depart as Stability AI Struggles

Robin Rombach and other AI experts leave the troubled startup behind the popular text-to-image model

Stability AI’s Stable Diffusion 3 model released in february 2024

The Reverie

In a significant blow to Stability AI, the startup behind the widely-used Stable Diffusion text-to-image generation model, several key researchers who helped develop the technology have left the company.

The departures come amidst reports of financial troubles and internal turmoil at the once-promising AI firm.

The Details

  • Robin Rombach, who led the original research team at Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich that created Stable Diffusion, has resigned from his leadership role at Stability AI along with two other members of that group, Andreas Blattmann and Dominik Lorenz.

  • CEO Emad Mostaque announced the news to staff last week, as the company grapples with dwindling cash reserves and executive turnover. At least six senior hires, including the COO and head of research, left in 2022.

  • Despite raising over $100 million from top investors, Stability AI has been spending heavily, with monthly expenses of $8 million far exceeding revenues according to internal documents.

Why Should You Care?

The loss of Stable Diffusion's core developers is a major setback for Stability AI as it seeks to commercialize the technology and compete with tech giants in the fast-moving generative AI space. It raises questions about the ability of AI startups to retain top talent and whether they can deliver on their ambitious promises.

The turmoil at Stability AI also highlights the challenges of open-source AI development. While Stable Diffusion's release spurred innovation, maintaining a viable business around it has proven difficult so far. Source
